We spent a couple of days here, cute little town, but not really that much to it. The train ride was not terribly scenic and we were pretty disappointed. We did have a really good meal at Bear Appetit' in town. The town is full of redone Victorian buildings, which I loved looking at, but that was about the extent of things we were interested in doing. So, we decided to take the second day as a day to catch our breath and do some laundry, which worked out just as well.
We ended up being fairly entertained by a big 5th wheel pulling in and dragging down power lines with his rig. He was NOT happy, since the lines were run from tree to tree in most cases and were pretty low. Also, the manager of the campground kept insisting that all lines were at least 15' off the ground and the rig owner insisted that his rig was only 13'. Obviously, someone was mistaken. Hubby had mentioned the line he pulled down earlier in the day, saying he was glad we had not caught it on the way in.
This campground was not laid out very well and had some really tight turns needed to be able to navigate through. So, that whole escapade proved to be pretty amusing, at least for us.
